Count on me

After falling asleep at a ridiculously early hour of the evening I found myself wide awake at 4am. I reached for my mobile(as you do) to see what has been happening in the cyberworld during my slumber. Next thing you know I get a  message from my gorgeous friend "Cashel" asking "U awake"....Cashel is based in Johannesburg(2 hours time difference behind Dubai)and had just come in from a night out. The next thing you know we were having a good old chinwag right up until 5:20am. A real heartfelt conversation about the realities of life. Oh dear Cashel how my heart aches that we will not see each other on this trip home but definitely will make up for it over chats and you will be in my heart as I visit our haunts in Cape Town. 

I am still wishful that we do see each other by some miracle. Earl grey tea...croissants from "Jason Bakery"...goji berry martinis at Nobu....cupcakes from Charleys....macaroons from Casis....cinnamon cola....Sidewalk cafe?! Is this working?
