The first leg of the trip has come and gone and now you and I are jet setting to Durban... the town where I was born and brought up and spent up until my early twenties there.
Aroon my eldest brother(also known as "Drill Sergeant") and his family live there and many of my closest friends.
Buckle up...and be prepared for a further injection of great energy, joy, beauty and meaningful true moments shared.
Someone asked me the other day what do I mean by true moments...so..its that moment where you fully engaged with the person you speaking to,your guard around your heart is down and you just trust and be and speak from your true essence. Too often we trying to protect ourselves or thinking ahead of what the person is saying or your mind is preoccupied with other thoughts. She said I live rather dangerously as yes I always wear my heart on my sleeve...That's my choice and the beauty of being able to live in my skin on my terms and not what society expects or wants me to be opens up my world to another beautiful sphere....At the end of the day its MY life story and when I turn to ashes as mentioned once before on another platform my ashes needs to be doing a happy and celebratory dance of a life well lived.
Anyway rather deep for this gorgeous rainy day. Let's head to Durbs!
Song for the day as Cape Town is pouring down with rain:"Aint no sunshine when she's gone.." Bill Withers ;)
"Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
It's not warm when she's away.
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
And she's always gone too long
Anytime she goes away. "
